At Animals Australia, we pride ourselves on the fact that we are recognised as Australia's foremost national animal protection organisation.  Backed by a dedicated and responsive supporter base, our small, diverse and busy team works tirelessly to create a kinder world for animals. Our unprecedented track record in investigating and exposing animal cruelty, teamed with our ability to conduct world-first strategic public awareness campaigns, is a role we take very seriously.

Focusing on community engagement and transparency, our role is that of an educator, a lobbyist and a leader.  Fusing creativity with research and communication, we seek to inform and empower individuals to take action and to make compassionate choices for animals, everyday.  We firmly believe that our treatment of animals reflects who we are as individuals and as a society.

What we offer:
Aside from the opportunity to bring about real change for animals, we offer:

  • A fun, but hard working environment
  • Flexibility in work hours
  • Discounted private health care membership
  • Employee Assistance Program
  • Companion Animal Compassionate Leave
  • Fantastic office location

What you offer:
You are high in energy, committed and passionate about making a difference — a real difference. Working to bring about real change for animals is a role you take very seriously, but you also enjoy a good laugh and like to have fun.  You know your stuff and you are good at it, and whilst you can run with a project or task on your own, you relish a team environment where ideas are encouraged and debated. Pragmatic and resilient, you never, ever, ever give up...even when the odds are stacked against you.
