The creative team who gave this little pig wings and voices to the millions of animals suffering in Australian factory farms has been recognised internationally with a Mobius Award — the Oscars of the advertising world.

The coveted award, judged by a panel of international experts, recognised the outstanding visual effects that brought to life the little winged pig in Animals Australia's Make it Possible TV ads and videos.

The concept was developed by Animals Australia and our pro bono advertising agency LOUD, with post-production specialists FSM animating our hero pig so she could plead her own case for a kinder world, then sprout wings and fly to freedom. Her backdrop was footage of animals from real factory farms throughout Australia.

With the TV ad already reaching 3 million people across the country and the campaign videos viewed over 320,000 times online, Make it Possible is having a huge impact and inspiring positive change for the millions of animals suffering in factory farms around the world. Nearly 100,000 caring Australians have already pledged to help create a world without factory farming.

i work in a supermarket and had to throw away 5 pallets of milk told a truck driver how angry that makes me he tells me that they throw away over a dozen pallets of milk from one wharehouse every week.
We go vegen and vegetarian to do the right thing and these big companys screw the price down on food to make any type of animal welfare near imposible.How many litres of milk gets thrown australia wide every week would be enormous .kfc $9 for 9 pieces how much welfare do those chickens get.

I just wanted to share what happened to me yesterday

I have been leaving BAN LIVE EXPORT PETITION SHEETS AND THE DAIRY INDUSTRY INFO at my local doctors surgery for the last year at least and getting loads of signatures and people very interested to know about the dairy industry and ban live export - this is all very wonderful and then yesterday one of the ladies at the surgery said "excuse me but may I please have some of those sheets for both ban live export and the dairy industry - my sister is opening a shop nearby and we want to put these in our shop too"  I was thrilled and said of course and THANKYOU very much - so to me this highlights that  people are listening and taking note and that change is happening - and that we must all NEVER EVER GIVE UP HOPE that this change for the better for all  animals is happening

Val: Riverside Dairy Is Cruel To Calves Monday, 4 February 2013 at 6:13pm
I watched the video of calves being sent to slaughter on the 7.30 report and no animal should have to walk and get pushed and prodded when it's going to be slaughtered . The Riverside Dairy in Northern Victoria should be fined and stopped from operating. We don't need the heaps of milk that is made because of human greed. I will not drink dairy if I can help it anymore. All I have is a small amount in coffee or tea but I will Stop. Something has to change so the male calves can live in peace. Of course the dairy farmers are going to artificially inseminate dairy cows so they have females if they can. I don't agree with artificial insemination in animals. Humans can do what they like.

A dolphin died yesterday when a pod up to 150 became stranded in shallow water off Albany. A team of five wildlife officers made their way to Whalers Cove, southeast of Albany, to help push the pantropical spotted dolphins out to deeper water if they had not moved by last night. The officers were hoping a high tide would help. The mass stranding was reported to the Department of Environment and Conservation about 9am. "the good thing is they are not beached, but are milling around in in the water," regional leader of nature conservation Deon Utber said. Two People's Bay Nature Reserve has been closed to the public until further notice as a result of the stranding, which has claimed the the life of one dolphin.

After watching the video about how pigs are treated when killed I hope anyone who eats pork vomits it up. Sorry but I am very angry as this is getting out of hand all of this animal killing so we can eat animals.

I was told today at work about a food depot that had just had a number of large truck loads of eggs deposited for distribution to the needy. The depot was desperate to get the eggs to people in need as they had never received so many.  

This is hopefully due to  the result of the lack of demand for caged eggs in the market place and factory farms not having any alternative but to give away their surplus. This I pray will hopefully result in closing down of these hell holes, if there is no market they will stop.
