In response to consumer demand, Hungry Jack's international parent company Burger King has announced that it has begun to phase-out the use of pig products from facilities using sow-stalls and of eggs from caged hens in its American stores and is replacing its current supplies with pork and eggs produced in more humane conditions. As Australian consumers, we the undersigned, call on Hungry Jack's to implement a similar policy to that of your international parent company Burger King in the United States, and commit to a phase-out of pork products from facilities that use sow-stalls and of eggs produced by hens in battery cages, with a view to total replacement of current cruelly-produced products.
