Petition to Free Saigon,
Australia's Last Circus Elephant

Saigon is Australia's last circus elephant. At 55 years of age, she is now too old to perform. Yet she is still trucked from town to town with Perry Bros Circus, spending months on end in a barren enclosure out the back of a truck, surrounded by an electric fence. More »

This is an absolutely disgusting way to treat an animal of such age and work history. She needs to go somewhere where she can enjoy life and spend some time under some TREES instead of being trucked around standing up all day with nothing to do. What a disgraceful situation this circus has put this poor animal in. Shame shame shame.

The Australian society has progressed and with it the recognition of animal welfare rights. Animals are not toys for human entertainment and do not belong in zoos.
