App review: Animal Effect

PUBLISHED ON: 1 May 2013

There are many worthy actions and events run by different animal groups around Australia. So how do you keep track of what's going on and where?

The new app for iPhone and Android, Animal Effect, promises a solution to this dilemma!

Animal Effect gives advocates an easy way to discover events organised by animal protection groups across Australia. You can search for events in your local area, keep tabs on events by specific organizations, and even find out about opportunities to take action online.

Animals Australia gives Animal Effect a two paws up. Major events held by Animals Australia will be listed through the Animal Effect app. And by purchasing the app through this link, part proceeds of the sale will be donated to Animals Australia.

If you're keen to get your hands on this app or want more info, then head here.

If you want to make sure you never miss out on an Animal Australia event in your area, you might also like to sign up for Animals Australia's SMS alerts — it's free!
