Goodwill Wines: A toast to the animals!

A glass of wine with dinner is thankfully no longer an indulgence. Indeed, many doctors tell us it may even be beneficial to our health. Well, now Animals Australia gives you even more reason to smile when you sit back to relax with your favourite drop.

Our good friend David Laity at Goodwill Wines is showing enormous support for animals by giving Animals Australia half of the proceeds of selected wines!

David suffered great loss during the Victorian bushfires of Black Saturday, and was humbled by the donations and support from the Red Cross Bushfire Appeal along with the generosity of the Australian public. He created Goodwill Wines to 'pay forward' that generosity by finding the best wine around and giving half the profits to his customers' favourite charities.

The Goodwill Wines selections for Animals Australia are completely cruelty free. No milk, eggs or fish products were used in the production process.

The quality of the wine at the prices they are asking is univeraslly impressive. All wines tasted spoke of their region, were clean and fresh and good examples of their style.Ian Robertson, wine critic

So pick your favourite! The savoury spices and ginger intermingled with well-balanced fruit in the Marsanne will complement your favourite spicy dish or fragrant curry. While the long, dry citrus finish of the Riesling is perfect for a long lunch with friends and family — try 'build your own' tacos!

Vibrant and fruity wooded Chardonnay is wonderful with deliciously healthy 'zoodles' with macadamia-kale pesto or spicy Italian-style sausages. And the zesty fusion of red fruits and rich dark berries in the cool climate Shiraz is custom made for wintery nights in front of the fire — the perfect accompaniment to a hearty pie, rich and smoky stroganoff or bolognaise with creamy polenta.

The crushed raspberry aroma of the Rosé (summer in a glass) would pair perfectly with strawberry crepes, a mango-passionfruit Eton Mess, or a simple mixed fruit salad. While the rich, tropical sweetness of the Moscato cuts through the dark intensity of decadent chocolate pots — a match made in heaven.

I ordered a Mother's Day present from Goodwill Wines - 6 bottles of Cab Sauv. The wine was great, and made even better by knowing I supported Animals Australia. Highly recommended.Sarah J, customer
