PROOF: Ending live sheep exports is a vote winner

All five MPs elected at the much-anticipated ‘Super-Saturday By-elections’ elected after committing to end the cruel live sheep export trade.

Reflecting on her re-election in the South Australian electorate of Mayo, key cross-bencher Rebekha Sharkie from the Centre Alliance credited 'people power' for her victory and told the media that live export was one of her top priorities.

Support for the historic Bill, expected to come up for debate in mid-August, wasn’t confined to South Australia. Re-elected Labor MP in the seat of Fremantle in WA, Josh Wilson, confirmed one of his two key priorities is securing a transition away from live sheep exports.
